Butterfly Gala

I've had this stamp set and co-coordinating punch for awhile now but have only recently got around to playing with it. While looking around Pinterest for some inspiration I saw so many great examples I know I will be using it lots more. Needing a card for my SIL to put in with a little care parcel after her Knee Replacement Op before she had to return to work, I was happy to find a quick "new to me" technique of colouring the Butterflies using the Stampin' Up Daubers. Pretty happy with what I ended up with. Who doesn't love Butterflies 🦋 😊

Thank you Card

A couple of weeks ago I received a very welcome and much needed gift of generosity from my daughters friend. Today I finished this thank you card to send to her and will also let her know I will pay forward her kindness.

One Sheet Wonder

Hubby settled in to watch footy this afternoon so I escaped to my craft room 😊
For awhile now I have been wanting to try out the 6"x6" OSW technique (One Sheet Wonder) with plans to use up some of my retired DSP (Designer Series Paper) ha ha so funny as one piece of 6"x6" paper is not going to put a dint in my paper stash 😄
The idea of this technique is to design a template or CASE (which in the crafting world stands for....Copy and Share Everything) one from Pinterest like I did, so many lovely Demos have shared their patterns there is plenty to choose from.
Depending on how many pieces you choose to design in your template you then cut your DSP up into the measurements to construct 4 or 5 quick cards.
Well that's the general idea, I seem to procrastinate over how to finish them off with embellishments etc so only finished 2 of my 4 this afternoon. I am sure the next two will go a bit quicker 😀  The template I used is below.

Easter 2020

I made this one with "Fable Friends" from Stampin' Up, such a cute set to play with.
